TrailerZone: Space Goes "Pitch Black" In Riddick's Debut Trailer

Riddick's first full trailer debuted yesterday and from the look of the trailer,it seems like the film will probably be more violent than the previous Riddick film (The Chronicles of Riddick) and will take on a dark tone just like the first film in the trilogy, which is Pitch Black.Oh,and the trailer already has an MPAA rating and it is officially rated R.Anyway, here it is:

Riddick is the 3rd film in the "Chronicles of Riddick" film franchise and are all directed by David Twohy.Riddick stars Vin Diesel as he reprises the title role,Karl Urban (Dredd,Star Trek),Dave "Batista" Bautista (The Man With The Iron Fists),Nolan Gerard Funk,Noah Danby,Jordi Molla' (Bad Boys II/Colmbiana) and Keri Hilson.

Here's the film's plot synopsis, just in case you want to know:

"Left for dead on a sun-scorched planet, Riddick finds himself up against an alien race of predators. Activating an emergency beacon alerts two ships: one carrying a new breed of mercenary, the other captained by a man from Riddick's past.
"

Rule the dark...Riddick opens September 6,2013 in US theaters to be shown in regular cinemas and selected IMAX theaters. No word yet on it's theatrical release here in our country. The film is produced by Universal Pictures so,the theatrical distributor here in our country who will release this would probably be Solar UIP. That poster has a freakin' creepily disturbing "pitch black" image of Vin Diesel as Riddick by the way...
